In order: they deregulated the banks which meant they were able to get into such deep trouble. The crisis itself would have happened whoever was in power. If the Tories had been in further deregulation would have occurred and the banks could have dug themselves and us a deeper hole.

Yes, absolutely. They supported it more wholeheartedly than most labour MPs.

Our economy and Europe’s, is directly connected to Americas and their spend on going to war in Iraq was at least $760b. We spent £9.5bn in Iraq and £11bn in Afghanistan.

Now whilst the Afghanistan was a legal war and we can justify the spend, going to war on two fronts stretched us beyond our limit.

Was it was just a coincidence that we went into recession at exactly the same time as America whilst we were in an illegal war and failed war?

Addition: With regards to going to an illegal war. It was Blair that sexed it up not the Tories. They had to put faith in the PM at the time.
