I can't believe the number of you that are frightened by a shop mannequin and an upside down bin with a sink plunger attched!!

The next time a shop mannequin and an upside bin, corner you in a quarry and thrust themself upon you, don't come running to me for tea and sympathy.

Definitely the Autons.

There was also a scary one where some killer bubble bath foam started enveloping the entire world. They only repelled it when they discovered the doctor's assistant - Victoria, I think - screamed at just the right frequency to kill it.

Indeed. I remeber one episode where Tom Baker got his foot stuck in a railway junction, and people wearing gas masks were bearing down on him.

Ahh the good old days of proper cliff-hangers. I can't remember if he escaped ok - anyone?

Has to be the beetle like Zarbis for me. Is anyone on here old enough to remember them? I think they featured in the very first series of Dr Who. Damn scary they were although I was only 6 at the time.

There was one episode which spooked me out as a kid and that was The Talons of Weng Chiang.

The spooky bit was his ventriloquist doll Mr Sin would come alive and his eyes were a real persons.
