Oh leave off how many players has Jol Bought? Davids, Jenas, Routledge, Mido, Saltieri the list goes on if your squad isnt good enough now it never will be. BTW Huddlestone does look class i give you that

But that is down to the manager surely? If he couldnt see Gardener wasnt up to the job if he got a couple of injuries then he should have sacrificed one of the twenty midfielders he has seemingly bought and got decent cover at centre half. Dont get me wrong i think Jol has done a terrific job at Spurs but as you say he does love a midfield player!

Thats true, however oddly im not too annoyed as its not like we need the money and id swap the 4th round of the cup for 4 points in next to games.

To be fair to jol when King was out at the start of the season Gardener was class, before the season started he was on his way out and those games saved him.

I have always thought Gardener was ok but he didnt look great yesterday i have to admit. Still its the best Spurs team for a few years i like the lok of them to be honest
