I have been to the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake where he made his final performance on the midwinter tour before dying in the plane crash. It is EXACTLY as it was when he last played their. Quite surreal.

Also been to the Norman Petty recording studios where he cut most of his records. That too is exactly the same as it was when he was alive and they even play the songs back through the original equipment used, also quite spooky.

..... and I've only been to Chippenham!

Just thought of another one I missed. Robert Johnson.
