Well it's that time of the year again folks, Christmas lights going up and preparations being made, a fortnight or so of Halloween and Bonfire activities and then we're into the final straight for Christmas 2023. With this in mind people will already be planning the main spectacle of Yuletide itself, Christmas dinner. Looks like with a combination of the resurgence of Covid and the cost of living crisis more people than ever will be having a digital Christmas and staying at home and with the price of butterball turkeys up some 60% on last year it will be an expensive Xmas/winterval lunch for man. So which bird(s) are you planning on roasting this Christmas?

???

None of the above.

Just far enough away from LDC
As a vegetarian will likely have a spinach and ricotta (with thyme and mace) encrusted in croissant style pastry/dough

Its fabulous

And after all the moderators' efforts to keep Zionism off the conflict thread, you have to go and spoil it. Dear oh dear.

Turkey crown/pillow/cushion/whatever - seems to go under a number of names.

Ordered already from my local butcher (in Westdene). It's turkey breast wrapped in bacon. Delish, and dead easy to carve. No brown meat, no bones, no fuss.
