Invariably the promoted teams beat one of the highly fancied teams to cause an upset. I think ours will be Arsenal as it stands at the moment.

Could see the logic if we were going to play Arsenal this season but after a summer of (probable) rebuilding and potential managerial change Arsenal next year could be a very different team to how they are now.

I dont' know where the line is drawn for what counts as a big team but I'd be looking at both Everton and Liverpool as potential victims, though that's obviously without the inevitable summber wrangling as well.

Obviously the Redmen.......
To be honest beating the bottom 5 teams home and away would be "Massive".

I think we'll be able to compete against the crud teams, if we can beat any of the top 4, home or away, we'll take that as a bonus but if you offer me beating one of the top 4 but being relegated, and losing all 8 games against those teams and staying up - it's an easy choice.

Have we ever beaten Arsenal? let alone in a league match
Did we beat Liverpool in a home league match? Remember an away win but only couple of draws at Goldstone

Aren't Chelsea the only ones we've never beaten?

To be fair. We've never been in the top flight at the same time as Chelsea either.

I didn't know that

I knew Chelsea went down as we went up,but didn't realise they spent all that time in Div 2

Got to be Chelsea - played them only 4 times in the league and lost every time. I believe they are the only league team we've played that has a 100% league record against us !

I'd quite like us to beat Leicester 3-0 (ulloa 44, 47, 90+3)...

...but not as much as I'd like beating Palace at home.

As far as the big teams go... I'd view any points off them as a bonus. Spurs would be sweet.

Still can't forget that night of beating Manchester City in the League Cup at Withdean. Incredible to do it when they started signing some big names.

Wet Spam after that scouse git Kevin Nolan did his crap chicken impression after scoring. Also got some very unpleasant fans so it would be nice to beat them.

If we don't beat Bournemouth I think we may be in trouble.

Don't think we should be thinking about this now, just enjoy this moment.
