To save you some reading, the best easily accessible hand held weapon for us is a good crowbar. We cant get guns, swords easily so this doubles for weapon and finding food. Remember though lead with the rounded edge as the hook may stick in a skull and be hard to remove resulting in 1 zombie kill but being mobbed as you try to remove the bar from said kill.
£9.98 from B and Q, that is the kind of panic buy I can get behind.

I'd like to think i'd be Bill Masen from Day of the Triffids but I fear i'd fall apart in reality.
