Erm - I will be taking GB Junior to football training on Saturday morning and going to the parade on Sunday :lolol:

Running 50 miles along the North Downs Way tomorrow. Sunday - probably not much. Undecided on the parade, will see how I feel.

Thanks - yes, seen some if it, will be nice to have a change from the SDW. There are a few very nasty climbs though

Good luck mate. I'm sure Box Hill will be fine. I definitely didn't wince when you mentioned it last week.....

This. Watching the playoffs as a neutral for once will be brilliant.

Don't know about brilliant, but a vague detached interest in the play-offs suggests to me that I'm beginning to mend after last week's disappointment. Free music festival in the park here tomorrow - might go along and watch the drunks.............!

No travel for me... thank God... just local West country socialising.... and a bit of wood turning ( ooo errrr missus) in my workshop....

PS. I might pop onto NSC every now and again, just to amuse myself with whatever soap box Herr Tubthumper happens to be standing on now.

You could maybe build me a new soap box in your shed?

West is BEST
Would never attempt 50 miler but used to run up box hill regularly, sometimes on the road, sometimes across the stepping stones and up through the wood. View from the top is always worth it. Incidentally for anyone that's interested in such matters, I earned my brown wings in the National Trust car park up the top there. At the back by the fallen tree. Give it a pat for luck when you jog past, eh!

Loxwood Beer and Music Festival tomorrow, then the parade on Sunday.

Does feel strange, the absence of excitement/angst, almost quite dull by comparison :)
