Last year we picked up points against Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea, Wolves, and Spurs and not sure anybody on here predicted it - certainly not in threads like this.
As for this season - well Villa beat Arsenal 3-0 (great result), but last week lost 3-0 home to Leeds who this weekend lost 4-1 to Palace who struggled to get a point against us.

Looking at how well Villa and Southampton are playing im beginning to think our next chance of a point is away to Fulham. Thats FIVE games away. Heaven forbid and really hope im wrong but that would mean we would be on six points from 12 games played - a THIRD of the season gone..December could well decide our season as after Fulham we play Sheff Utd at home and West Ham away. 6 points from them 3 games and it would be 12 from 15 and still give us hope. Any less than that by the end of the year and i suspect the Potter out camp will be shouting it from the rooftops.

Love to be proved wrong..Scrappy 1-0 win at home to southampton and again vs Arsenal on the last game of the year and it might look a lot different.

One things for certain - it aint boring being an albion fan.

We have taken at least a point this season from each team we have played outside the Big Six. There's your answer. The next game against a team outside the Big Six.

the trouble is this season - the big six are no longer six!. Apart from Leeds who have nose dived after a great start (but are right above us 4 points clear) virtually all the teams above us are taking points from eachother. i mean really after 8 games when was the last time man city and utd were at or below bottom half? Likewise when do u ever remember seeing Palace, Southampton , Villa, Everton, Wolves and `Leicester in the top 9? So in reality unless we too can join in the fun and start getting unexpected results we will be in the doo doos pretty quickly.
