Or can he be rubbish every week without anyone caring? He was, quite literally, pointless today. Absolute rubbish, and one of the main reasons we created absolutely nothing at all today.

But people are so quick to have a moan about Holroyd and Hoyte, amongst many others, but nothing is said about Carole? Even though he does NOTHING. At all. Not on the wing, anyway. No pace, little skill, poor delivery, slow brain. Why is he still at the club, let alone in the team. Absolute rubbish, and he should have been out the door first.

For players like Cox, Virgo and Michel to be shown the door but Carole still getting a chance to actually play... well. Poyet is a baffling man.

Today? I think that's the point. He's been the worst player at the club since he rejoined it, and yet, noone seems to care. I don't understand it.

He was released by DARLINGTON last season, but we think he's good enough?

Unless I have read it wrong he hasnt been given a new weekly contract, that he is on at the moment , but has been told he can come back to preseason training and they will re assess the sitiuation then.

Incidentally I was told today that Virgo was offered a new contract but on 50% of his current wage, although he was the biggest earner at the club, and he refused it. Do not know if that is true.

Hoyte has been excellent in the last 2-3 games.

Poyet likes players who listen to his instuctions and take up the positions and tactics he subscribes.

While Carole is not in any long term plans Poyet wanted players to carry out his game plan.

Barnham, if Poyet's game plan was to create nothing and be boring to watch today, he got it spot on. If he wants to challenge for the top 6, as well know he does, then he can't afford players like Carole.
