No chance of being champions,, right now id settle for a play off place but even thats looking unlikely. We look very ordinary!

I have had to go for 7th-12th which was being generous. After spending the whole summer saving how good we still are and that we would breeze the championship I am very very dissapointed at the moment .

I put £ 170 on the Albion and its money down the tube. I maintained that although we lost Zamora all we needed was someone would could bang in 20 and I thought Knight was that man but he's turned out to be rubbish.

Also said Carpenter, Rodger, Cullip , Roberts were div 1 players and with the team spirit, manager and supporters nothing would hold us back.

I have to say and it hurts we are

At present

Yorkie - you cannot compare this season with 2 years ago and the reason is:

ZAMORA

Also 3 point difference is actually quite a lot after 7 games and works out at a 20 pt difference over a season.

On the evidence so far no better than mid table. However, I'm sure things will improve when Jones comes back, IMHO Albions most underated player. Also Coppell is no mug and there is money left in the budget if the right player is available. I'm sure one will appear - he hasn't made a bad one yet.

Forget Colchester, 3 points tomorrow and we all might think differently.
