Our only hope of a sustained stay in the Premier League is that the foreign money dries up and clubs have to generate their own income more.

Good call. The Premier League is on the brink. Wouldn't take much to tip it over the edge. The taxman calling in all the dodgy offshore dealings, SKY pulling the plug, a major betting scandal, another World Cup failing by the snide millionaires and the mass withdrawl of sponsorship by image-conscious corporations. Ideally all of the above.

Mid-table in League One and hoping to be play-off contenders for the following season.

Heart says Prem.

Head says Championship. (Pushing at the right end) With a newly erected statue of Gus Tanno and Tony to be revealed outside falmer before the first home league game.

I'd be delighted to be playing in division 2, with the occasional sortie into division 1. West Brom would be a brilliant team to emulate, boing boinging up and down the top two divisions.

Almost certainly a pipe dream though....

I'd like to think we'll be an established mid table championship team with the intention of pushing towards becoming play off contenders

Not fussy - either just relegated to the Championship or just promoted to the Premiership would do.
