we'll also have ELEVEN players going to the world cup - and not one representative of england

Anyone who thinks we'll be in the Premier League is seeing us though blue & white spectacles. However I do think we'll be in the championship, hopefully fighting to be in the play-offs.

I expect to be logging onto this site to read about how our latest international superstar has signed because of the Poyet effect only to find the Leon Knight thread still top of the 1st page!

Well established in the Championship after coming just short of the play offs the season before, just like Sheffield United at the moment as someone said before.

This feels so much like Bamber and Mullery. If these two stay around then the premiershite is definitely in range. Hold on to your hats and climb aboard the Gus bus.

once we have won the champions league, we will be invited by tony blair to take a pre-season tour to the gaza strip which miraculously brings peace and solves all the problems in the middle east, leaving tony, tony and gus to be heroes among the palestinian and israeli people

I have no idea. On one hand I could easily see us in the championship and potentially challenging at the right end of the table but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we were still slugging it out in league one..

Championship.

I half feel that I'd much rather support us in the Chmapionship than the Premiership. The time spent travelling is often better than the destination.

Our only hope of a sustained stay in the Premier League is that the foreign money dries up and clubs have to generate their own income more.
