I was going to contribute to this thread, but what's the point?

I'm not sure why, but I've decided to post a picture of Alexander Armstrong

Whilst I agree that their current predicament is hilarious, they are still just 4pts from safety. One win changes everything. I recall looking at a run of fixtures they had towards the end of last season and thinking "they could be in trouble here". Then they won at Chelsea, won at Liverpool and thumped Arsenal 3-0, all in quick succession. "Typical Palace", I thought.

So, I'm going to reserve my smugness until the latter stages of the season when - hopefully - we are sitting pretty and they are doomed.

One thing, however, is that nobody can take away the fantastic records they've set thus far. That's set in stone. Well done chaps.

Cabaye and Townsend were superb for us.

Perhaps they were motivated by playing at a proper club rather than at a ramshackle village non-league standard ground where the "fans" offer out players when it's going wrong and a small corner of them wear gimp masks and thus call themselves the best fans in the league.
