i was there, behind the goal

Couldn't see the Upper Tier numbers, but the Lower Tier was full.

With Albion fans on two levels, it no doubt made the singing a bit disjointed.

Best two chants of the day:-

To our man with the dead squirrel on his head - "You've never seen a mirror!" Even Jonesy laughed at that.

And the little lad in the QPR section to our left, who couldn't have been older than six, who squeaked as loud as he could in our direction - "Sit down, shut up!" He thoroughly deserved the round of applause we gave him. His dad looked so proud.

Driving very quickly through Cavan in the rain hoping my hangover didn't correlate to high blood-alcohol levels, listening to the Radio 5 transmitter in Enniskillen (one of the 693 masts).

So about 80 miles further away than normal then.

Had a ticket for the Worcester v London Irish game in Worcester today but missed my Preston Park train by about six hours.

So instead listened to BBC Radio Worcester in my left ear and BBC SCR in my right ear.

I went to Lewes v Eastbourne Boro as part of a long-standing arrangement.

I'm not really a fan of Loftus Road. For one we always seem to struggle there and secondly the atmosphere is always a bit wierd because of the split tiers. Fair play to those who went though, has been an expensive couple of Albion months so I would imagine many had to dig deep.

Not selling tickets on the day didn't help.

A friend of mine got in by paying on the gate.

Whilst they always say it's not possible, it invariably is when not a sell out.

Is a bit of risk travelling up when it isn't definate though.
