The dull part of the south coast
I thought the way the players reacted at the end was absolutely spot on. Came and stood in front of our fans for a long time. And fair play to most of our fans who clapped them. Maybe the one 'positive' from today.

Fab? Nowhere to be seen.

Edit: apparently he was there, at the back.
Well that’s f***** up a load of previous comments on this thread. punish:

He generally doesn’t come over to celebrate either. He said in an interview the moment between the fans and players is special between them, and not a moment for the head coach.
Please don’t make these sensible posts it’s not appropriate….perhaps instead start a thread, maybe with a poll …say on is this the worst team since last season or something like that 😉

I’m sorry mate but clapping the players for what ? I saw people clapping them as well give your head a wobble if anyone was clapping
There are a hard-core who clap like performing seals irrespective and always stay to the end.
Plenty were leaving from 4-0 onwards and there was a steady stream up to the final whistle. These aren't fair weather people. Most go away regularly and yesterday..enough was enough. Once it went to 4-0 you knew there were more to come. The players body language told you that. For many...a painful humiliation is too much to take.

Think he was there briefly right at the back and then went down the tunnel. Nowhere near the fans.

I admit to staying for their penalty hoping it would stay 4-0 instead of 5-0. Wasn’t even given that tiny consolation. I heard the roars for numbers 6 and 7 around Meadow Lane as I trudged back to the station. Life can be really shit sometimes. :tantrum:
