I dont think anybody is suggesting buying 8 or 10 players as most we get will be out of contract possibly dropping down from the Premier and be wealthy to start with so wages may not be the main issue.

I would only keep Dunk out of the defence , Ince Kayal , Stephens , Lua Lua , JFK , from the midfield and Balldock from attack ( not unless we can sell him for a good price ) the rest can go , they are either not good enough or to old

now you are just talking utter drivel. we all know wages matter, and most players dropping from the premiership and out of contract are shite. theres a few gems and surprises each season, but they want and know they command wages.

That isnt so the average wage in the premier is about £25k per week. The ones we have had dropping down like Bridge Upson Ward havent been that bad and know they wouldnt get the kind of money they are used to out of the Prem or even in it so would probably accept 12-15k per week. Obviously we are not going to get players in the £100k a week bracket come down but there are many lower rated. An example of 2 out of contract Paul Conchesky, Paul McShane they wouldnt command or get high wages.
