Saw this today and thought it was really good but well weird.

I made the mistake of taking my family to see it on christmas eve. Probably ok if you're 6 or 7, 8 at a push.

My 4.5 year old enjoyed it. She was shocked by the behaviour of the little boy (pot calling kettle black!). However she ahs not wanted to see it again, unlike most of the other films shes got on her computer.

Excellent film. Captured the mood of the book perfectly. Big ups to Spike Jonze for that, he nailed it.

I agree Simster it was watchable but not particularly memorable. I reckon Legend of the Guardians looks something a bit special however.
