Going to Hong Kong and East Coast Australia from next tuesday for 5 weeks, anyone got any experiences flying with Qantas?

I went to New Zealand and back with Qantas and everything was good. Can't really compare to other companies, as it was my first ever flight. Thought the food was very good. Lots of movies, tv shows, games on offer.

Would definitely recommend them from my experience

I won't be going on holiday again until July time or maybe before if I've managed to save enough money. I plan on inter-railing round Europe and then heading to Canada (or Canada then inter-railing).

February 2008. Off to the Scottish Highlands, then over to North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, for 10 days or so.

Just me, my tent and a 4-season sleeping bag. Can't wait. :)

Just back from a week in Spain but already booked 9 days in Lanzarote for Easter, however, with bloody BA selling off GB airlines to Easyjet that may not happen as I will refuse to fly with Easyjet after paying for BA, and as we were going on a Tuesday Easyjet may not even take up that slot.

Flying to San Franciso, have 3 days in SF, then driving/catch the coastal train down to San Diego via LA. Then going on a 10 day boat trip Whale watching finishing in Mexico, fly back to San Diego, have 2 days in San Diego then fly back to Gatwick.

All booked apart from still to decide if to hire a car and drive from SF to SD via LA or getting the scenic train journey instead.

Flying to the US with Northwest - not been with them before. Got flights for £300 return which didnt seam too bad.

3 weeks away and cant wait!

Green with envy.
Haven't done the train but I have driven the entire west coast and it was Fantastic EXCEPT L.A. which I think is a shithole. I love the sound of the train, but when you drive you can stop and watch the seals and take in the view.
I wish I had that decision to make
