Over there
What do people think of going abroad with very young children. Since my two came along 3 years ago we've not been abroad and don't intend to until they are 5+. Just wouldn't feel comfortable with tiny ones abroad and putting them through the riggers and boredom of flying. It's centre parcs all the way now.

What was your favourite holiday and where would you love to visit.
Watching earthflight on beeb 1 I'd love to visit machu pichu and the lost inca city.

Amazing place, 1st up there about 6am and seeing the sunrise was incredible. Peru and Bolivia favourite holiday by an absolute mile.

Would love to back and do more of South America, Paraguay in particular.

My favourite holidays were to the Canadian Rockies ( bannf, jasper, lake Louise) and Newyork Newyork.

Went there in 2001 and it is amazing along with the Peruvian marching powder!! Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is an incredible place. I would love to go to Zanzibar one day.

By the seaside in West Somerset
We go back to Bali time and again - been going there for 30 years now and it has changed beyond all recognition but the place and the people are magical still. Always go via Hong Kong for the buzz and the shopping - beach clothes on the way out and everything and anything that will fit in the suitcase (or in the case of my new Ping golf clubs can be carried) on the way back.

There is also a botanical park in Western Australia that I've declared my spiritual home - the most peaceful, relaxing place in the world

I'm a lucky boy as I have done several of these places (New England/NewYork, Rockie Mountaineer from Banff over to Vancouver and up to Alaska, Sorrento, Australia and Seth Efrica).

All memorable sights but my favourite is being on the Darling Ferry coming towards Circular Key across Sydney Harbour - a view you know so well but actually being there is an amazing feeling.

Having said that the view from Table Mountain is pretty special as well.

My most enjoyable trip was backpacking through Thailand and Vietnam. As you can imagine what fun young single lads in Thailand could get up to. But Vietnam is much more beautiful and interesting place, and is probably my favourite country I've visited.

Place I would like to visit, would be to do the Western Canada and Alaska tour (British Columbia, Alberta, etc), Dubai and Japan.
