I'm going for a solid 8. Largely happy with the signings brought in, but still think we need some defensive reinforcements - plus we have the uncertainty over Caicedo. Looking ahead to the season in general, European football is obviously amazingly exciting, but the unknown of how that impacts the overall dynamic of the squad, fitness and form etc is one to be potentially wary of.

Our biggest season ever with the best squad ever by a country mile got to be 10.

Ask me again at 5 Saturday or 5.30 or 5.40 whenever we finish the game.

About 5 or 6.

We are weaker than last season

Alexis gone nobody in our squad is as good
Moises future on hold so is unsettled
Undav gone
Sanchez gone
Colwell gone back

Pedro looks quality
Dahoud early signs not good
Igor no idea but Colwell was excellent
Bart weaker than Sanchez for the time being. Give him time.
Adingra looks very promising
Milner brings experience.

Yup pretty good at an 8.
Hope we do well
In Europe but can’t see us going as well in the league, sadly reckon 10th or 11th.
Fingers crossed I’m shown to not have a clue what I’m talking about at the end of the season

Voted 6 which is both emotional and irrational. Our recruitment has been first rate, but my nerves are jangling with unreasonable expectations and will stay that way until we retain or replace Caceido. I wasn't alone in thinking Bissouma would leave a massive hole and in the end that worked out just fine, but it doesn't guarantee we can pull off the same trick twice.

How anyone could vote less than 8 is beyond me (5!?) - this is the greatest & highest potential Brighton squad of all time!

Difficult, really torn.
As regards the past season and Europe definitely 9
As regards transfer shenanigans and friendlies 6
so let's call it 7.5 on average ..............Oh blast! no half point options

7. The Caicedo saga has temporarily knocked it a bit, the underwhelming display against Vallecano didn't help and I don't feel too great about the potential opening day banana skin.. but I'll be back at 10 come Saturday morning I'm sure. Plenty of things to be positive and excited about.

7 - no major worries with how we are, but getting tired of the Caicedo situation and the constant drone of Chelsea dullards giving grief to our club. Im also not really buzzing off our interest in Kudus, who just gives me too many red flags. I also get a little nervous at the start of a new season- yes we are playing well, but have a big target on our back now and think we wont catch the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs off guard any more.

No mention of Gilmour or Ferguson or Enciso or Mitoma or maybe even Buonanotte? Certainly different from last season. But what if it all magically clicks into place rather than implodes? We could be on the brink of something truly special. Not sure many teams in the Europa League will know how to deal with our style of play, for starters
