Childish. Really? You support the club through thick and thin. All the time I can afford it, I will be a season ticket holder whether that’s League 2 or CL in Prem.
Maybe 50 years ago ...nowdays age and health change things. Always support but maybe from home...... thought the same for the last few seasons however when it comes to the crunch will prob renew.

5.5 - season not quite going as hoped, but mad to look at the table and see that we've only actually lost 6 out of 24 games in what feels like a bit of a disappointing season so far (but in the wider picture for us really obviously isn't). Saturday was a disaster, but we seem to have one or two of those a season whoever's in charge. Prepared to give FH time (I mean who the f*** do we think we are if not - we're a relatively small club in 10th in the PL) - let's see how the summer goes and his second season.

Madness how immaturely irrational some on here are

6 - Apologies, essay incoming, please skip if weary.

My gut feeling (no inside info, entirely possible I’m wrong) is that Hürzeler has been too conciliatory and quick to abandon his ideas. I get the impression that this is now hurting him and the squad, as there’s been little consistency in what he’s asking the players to do.

I fear we’re not going to see success under Hürzeler unless he reasserts his core ideas and principles, stops saying “guys” all the time, and ideally shuts up about the f***ing process. (optional)

I question the wisdom of the club’s scouting/data analysis when we have a decidedly pedestrian defence, yet hire a head coach who wants to play a high line susceptible to a break. That’s baffling, and it’s on the club not the manager.

We don’t want head coaches hand-selecting specific players, it’s right that the club’s recruitment team recruits for the club’s current and future needs, and is not manager dependent. However, it cannot operate in a vacuum, blind and deaf to the needs of the manager in terms of style of player and the characteristics they need. At present, club recruitment and manager style of play seem to be running down two completely separate tracks. There needs to be symbiosis and there isn’t. It feels like there’s no communication.

We’re also trying to bring an insane number of young players through at the same time. There’s a lot on here who seem to feel that the problem is Hürzeler. I’m not nearly so sure. Outside of Mitoma, who else is in that experienced yet still physical peak age range of 25-29? Igor? O’Riley? Our squad balance is wrong in terms of age profile and positions. I know our business model, but we can’t have 20yo’s across the whole pitch at the same time.

So, to be tenth in the PL with all the above, is frankly a bloody miracle. It suggests we’ve got a team of incredible youngsters, holding their own in the toughest league in the world. I know we got drubbed last Saturday, but with things as they are at the club atm, we’re doing bloody brilliantly. All we can do is support the team.

TLDR - The glass remains more than half full. You’d be crazy to think otherwise.

6 (wavered between this and a 5 -. glass half-full, I guess). Could well be lower after the next few games. Sorry Micky, but I'm beginning to lose the faith.

Blimey, if this is an all time low heaven knows how you have coped from 1983 to 1998! 😂
Again I should have qualified it as post Withdean, but these polls have only been going since we reached the Amex I think?

Even if we came last with no points nothing will ever get as low as 96-97 and 97-98 . Yes it’s disappointing this season but if anyone is voting below a 5 I suggest a Time Machine back to those 2 above seasons
The worst game of football ever played by an Albion team was a 0-0 v Donny Rovers at the shitfield stadium I think season 97-98 would rank as the lowest Mojo ever in supporting the Albion

4. Bloom era all time low. Recruitment has stuttered massively, Injuries increase annually, our DS is producing L1 quality players, loans have been poor, tactical naivety, inconsistency....
More than anything else it's the disappointment of not pushing on from the glory days of 6th place and Europa.
We're safe this season and should be comfortably mid table but next season could be a relegation battle

Went for a 4.

Not because of the squad or recruitment. I’m really pleased with our three signings this January and our outgoings - I always wanted Enciso and Ferguson to be loaned out.

I like the make up of the squad, think we’ve got some great young talent. We’ve signed a defender, CM and striker - hopefully people can stop banging on about us just signing wingers now. Would have ideally liked to sell Lamptey too and bring in another RB but all in all, a good window.

BUT, I am massively concerned about Hurzeler and with him in charge, I’m anticipating a poor end to the season. 2 wins out of 12, and those 2 wins coming against 2 diabolical teams, is crap with the players we’ve got and the injury situation has not been as bad as some make out, especially with the strong squad we’ve got. He has got a lot of convincing to do.

6 and for me that's bloody devastating I'm not that concerned about our league status going forward this season as we have enough points plus 9 -12 from our remaining games I'd like to think, it's the Ferguson loan I'm really struggling with, probably too much but now it's real it's really hard to fathom currently,so it's a 6 from me bob.

Based on the club, the football, the players, the promise of our club I'm still a happy 8.

Based on the attitudes of so many of my fellow fans its down around 1 or 2. I think most of you are a f***ing disgrace in truth, that you can't deal with a setback in results without resorting to abuse and misery and sheer entitlement that bemuses me no end. NSC used to be a fun place to come whether we were floundering around league 1 or flying up the championship, we could be great, shite or indifferent but this would always be a place to enjoy being a fan of Brighton and Hove Albion wherever one was in the world. But that's virtually gone now, this place has become f***ing unbearable.

3 at the moment. Might be something to do with not seeing a single win in my 10 weeks off (home games). Might be the 7-0. Might be the loaning of Fergie & sale of young talent. Might be trying to decide whether or not to renew mine & son's ST, (working away half the year, fully intend to go to games, just get tickets game by game when home).
Might be not taking to the manager at all. Never thought I'd see another as boring as Potter in the press conferences, but this "trust the process" does my nut in.
Really down in the dumps with things at the moment.
Hoping the renowned succession planning is looking for a proper manager as we speak.

Been doing this for over 55 years. Shit happens!
Indeed. Amazing how people are so affected by such short term issues. I genuinely don’t understand how some people on here get through the days. Literally 2 weeks ago we’d just won 3 in a row and before that drew with Arsenal and Villa.

It’s embarrassing to read what a bunch of cry babies some of you are over a game of football (which the opposition is trying to win just as much as we are, let’s not forget).
