It’s a shame that Tony cannot say “ I don’t accept your bid, as I’d agreed one withLFC, so Fck off.
Then, to MC agent, “I’m sorry, it’s LFC or you stay with the team that gave you this amazing opportunity in the first place, if you don’t like that, go wash out the kit room in Lancing”… if only life were so simple.

I'm not sure why he would meet with TB? His offer has been accepted. If the rumour that Caicedo's agents have stopped Caicedo from speaking to Liverpool is true, maybe he is coming to meet Caicedo's agents to try to move things along?
Possibly, Maybe they want to talk to Moises directly and offer him better terms .Can owners do that? Or is it down to recruitment team?

I’d like to think that we’ll stall accepting any new Chelsea offer. If only to stop them parading Moises on the pitch before kick off today, which will just be a classless act intended to wind up Liverpool.

What an utter shambles this is turning out to be.
A shambles. Embarrassing. Unedifying. Rightly or wrongly, it reflects badly on the game, Chelsea, Caicedo, and his agent.

It's a real mess. I just hope that TB and PBOBE can rescue it and move Caicedo on asap. Hopefully to Liverpool which would be the right place for him.

The dull part of the south coast
All true but it still pisses me off that they can cause us so much disruption, and we are very lucky that it didn’t derail us. Taking Caicedo might though…

I have been here since the Venables/Mullery days but I have to confess to struggling to keep up the hate recently. It’s all Panto to me now
I have been to all the major Albion v Palace confrontations in the 1970s where it really was tribal warfare. Now it’s all about gobbing off and trying to walk across the netting. Small beer and all that.

We don't need to stall anything, this is all about chelsea scrabbling about for the money.

I really don't think we'll be accepting any kind of offer from Chelsea, even £200 m, or even liaising with them, until Liverpool formally withdraw theirs...

He can say that. It’s the only thing that is ensuring Chelsea get the deal done. Tony can prevent it happening whenever he wishes and will do so if he tires of Chelsea’s delay. At the moment I guess he still thinks it is going to happen.

Chelsea fans online are claiming he (Boehly) is a tactical genius.... it's all about opinions.

Brighton have a deal on the table from Liverpool, who have recent good experience of dealing with Brighton in landing Mac Allister, a model professional.

Astonishingly, Liverpool still want Caicedo. The whole world is advising Caicedo to go to Liverpool. Only one person it seems, apart from Chelsea fans, is advising him to go to Chelsea. His agent.

Will the penny drop for Caicedo?

I just think it's quite amusing, a get-the-popcorn-out kind of watch

Sanchez to come for a cross today and spill it allowing a simple tap in for a Liverpool win.
That would do nicely.

Life is too short to be bitter. I wish Sanchez well. They can lose without him f***ing up

I’d rather he flapped at it, hits Cucu on the bonce and the ball trickles into the net.
Can we compromise on a decent save from a dodgy Cucu back pass with Macca backheeling in with footage cutting to Boley spitting his drink out?

A pal of mine went to work for Sir John Vane, Nobel prizewinner and the man whose team discovered how aspirin works.

On his first day:

"Have you got any experience boy?"

"Yes Prof Vane. I have done the Guinea pig ileum, the McGregor preparation, the Langendorff and Finkelman, and of course the famous Vane cascade superfusion"

"Come with me, boy"

(excitedly follows Vane to the Animal House, as it used to be called)

"Here's your first job. You can clean all the shit out of the animal cages".

(Vane wanders off)

Tough love. It can be done.
