I doubt Moises actually knows what's going on. His agents, on the other hand.

You don’t give him much credit do you? He’s not a complete imbecile I imagine

Mad that he would choose Chelsea over Liverpool. At Liverpool I feel he’d be nurtured better. At Chelsea it would be one mistake and the fans will be on his back thinking it’s Cucurella mark 2.
The guys is thick as sh@t. Not a clue what’s actually going on and clearly badly advised.

Moises is not coming out of this well at all.
Yep openly publicising his desire to only join Chelsea before we have agreed a fee with them weakening our negotiating position and putting the transfer at risk is both stupid and distasteful.

When you add all this to the January nonsense comes across as a bit of a prick

He’s not a 2 year old, he is a fully functioning adult.

No idea why people are infantilising him like this, he knows perfectly well what is going on, well enough to know he wants to go to Chelsea over Liverpool and well enough to show he doesn’t want to be here anymore.

Actually think he's (his agents?) painted Chelsea into a bit of a corner.

He and his agents are taking a real gamble here - Liverpool might withdraw their bid. Chelsea may refuse to match it. Then what?
He goes into the reserves?
He's only 21 - away to Bexhill United at the Polegrove in the Sussex Senior Cup would be character building for him.

Romano's information will be coming from the same place his information has been coming all summer (and back in January): Caicedo's agents. It's my guess that they stand to make something from a Chelsea deal that they won't make from a Liverpool deal and are desperate not to lose it.

How are they possibly serving the interests of their client by, after a deal has been agreed, leaking stories that he doesn't want to join a club prepared to break the British transfer fee record for him. Circumstances may make some think that they are now actively working for Chelsea, not for their client. Greed is a dangerous thing that can lead people to overplaying their hand and losing everything.

we are lucky that he is a man of his word which means that if he doesn’t get chelsea move he will honour his contract with us and our all effort in. Phew.

I guess our deadline was set so that we could spend at least some of the money on an incoming player of players. So that can’t happen just yet.

Wait.

So Liverpool have had a 111m bid accepted but caicedo has turned them down?

Because he wants to keep his word he gave Chelsea in May when he agreed personal terms with them?

Even though Chelsea hadn't even made a bid let alone had it accepted?

This is pretty shambolic from Chelsea and team caicedo.
That's what I was thinking. Is this not an illegal approach? I don't recall Brighton giving MC permission to talk to Chelse 3 months ago?

Maybe he just doesn’t want to join Liverpool?

I think his agents are idiots as well but actually we don’t know what they are saying/doing and we actually don’t know if Moises is listening to them. I am not sure what you can say other than “he wants to go to Chelsea” if that’s what Moises is saying and is refusing to go to Liverpool.
