Imagine spending a whole week "preparing a bid", only to receive an immediate "f*** off" when it's finally fully prepared and sent over.
Well if it takes a week to tippex out a 7 and replace it with an 8 when the price label clearly says 10 don't be surprised if the response is quick.

Maybe they should try the same at Sainsburys, Primark and Argos tomorrow morning as a training exercise :lolol:

£80m and rejected…. Well done Tony Bloom! If we end up keeping him, then fantastic, but if we end up with £85/90m or upward then well played Mr Bloom. Big balls on the man!

🤣 Exactly. I bet they sent it as one of those dramatic last actions of the day emails as well, before going to the pub.

"Well, team, well done, we've crunched the numbers, sweated blood and tears here. We've worked with all the stakeholders here, the recruitment team, The Manager, the owners, and I think we've done some great work over the last 48 hours...."

*dramatic pause before sending it*

*click*

"BUT! that, team, is for another day! We've done all we can now, the offers away. The balls in their court, let them stew on it a while and we'll deal with whatever repercussions this causes tomorrow... I want to see all of you legends down the Three Butchers by 6pm. Peroni's are on me"

*DING*

"Erm Steve...its a no"

"Sake."

Tune in next week for the umpteenth edition of ‘Chelsea’s Derisory Offers’ where they’ll be finding out whether Brighton will consider an £85m bid for more than 5 minutes!

It's interesting how some are reporting it as €93m. Trying to make it seem like it's closer to our supposed price tag?

If they can get to grips with Find and Replace, they can really speed up the frequency of their offers. It doesn't have to take a whole week each time.
