Bored of this. I'd like to see him go now, with us getting a big fee, it's being dragging on for ages. I'd also, shame on me, actually like to see him show whether he really is a huge talent (by playing in a team that reaches the latter stages of the Champions League). Some will say he can do similar with us but this is just word salad imho. He's better than Bellingham and Rice imo, let him show it.
What nonsense. We’re talking about one of the best midfielders in the world. That’s literally why TB wants north of £100 mill or a Colwill PX.

If he stays with us this season he might get us into the last eight- at least - of a European competition. If he does that he’ll go to a proper powerhouse like City, Barca, Real, Bayern. For more than he’s on for now.

Your post reads like you support “Chels”.

If Boehly fails to land Caicedo and this transfer window ends up as bad as the last was for Chelsea, how long before some Monarch of the Arabian Peninsula offers Boehly an escape route that leaves the Premier League with another nation state owner?

That $3.1B deal to buy Chelsea looks worse by the day, surely they must be thinking how do we get ourselves out of this mess?
Well PIF already have an indirect stake in Chelsea (via their investment in Clearlake Capital). So you’re probably spot on!

You could also have added that he'll get to play in the Europa League next year and, given that we're third favourites for the EL, he'll have a decent chance of playing in its latter stages.
I was certain that we'd lose Moises this summer but, increasingly, I'm revising that view. It seems that Chelsea are the only club to realise how good he is, but they don't seem to want to engage in the process of extracting an asset from us. He could always stay with us for another year, play in the EL, and a CL club will definitely recognise his worth by then.
Is that true?

Bloody hell!

I was at both York City games mate. Just because my opinion differs..... I'm just a bit bored of the noise around him after his statement of thanks and goodbye in Jan.
Not sure how that is relevant.
There is no noise though. None. Nada. Nothing. Just stuff you are making up. I have seen ONE thing. One bid. It got rejected. If that is noise, you live a very quiet life.

Way too early to be calling him one of the best !!

Decent player, but didn't set the world alight at beerschot (ok they're a joke club) and doesn't really stand out for equador, thought pervis was much better at the world cup.

Glad we are holding firm on the price though as his potential is unbelievable.

No probs with being told by all n sundry (well, 2 I think) that it's nonsense but I'll stick to my opinion thanks. As for the "insults" that I must therefore be a Chelsea fan because I'm not that bothered now if he moves on, for a huge fee - as my cat would say .....

Saw this on a Ecuadorian news source Studio Futbol. Hopefully there's truth in it. Translated:

At this time Moisés Caicedo is most likely staying in Brighton.

They definitely don't want to sell him for less than £100,000,000 and Chelsea would look at other markets at this point.

Moisés and his entourage are very calm because he is barely 21 years old.

Very interesting last line. We've been given the idea from the usual Twitter mugs he's desperate to leave but we haven't actually heard that from him or his reps- aren't they weren't shy about it on January.

Translates as 'Moises and his entourage are very calm because they were all weighed in in early February'

Bloom's Not For Sale shutter must slam down in about 2-3 weeks time ?

I can't see us selling him at all once the season starts.

Talking to a Chelsea STH yesterday he just can't understand why we want to much such a big profit from our original investment.
Thought we are being greedy, he just didn't get the fundamental idea of business "buy low, sell high".
Asked me to explain the price tag and I replied "Declan Rice".

We don’t need to sell, we don’t want to sell. so pay what TB wants, make a deal that includes Colwill or just look elsewhere. It really is that simple isn’t it? Having a foot stomping paddy won’t make it happen

Chelsea see us as a threat I can almost guarantee they will offer to pay the £100m right at the end of the window with the hopeful plan it won’t give us enough time to find a replacement.

Every reply I’ve seen from de Zerbi makes clear he wants a replacement if he goes. So you’d assume there must be an internal deadline which would allow us enough time to get that replacement. Feels like if this isn’t done by mid August it won’t get done.
