He gave the woman a Brighton shirt so deffo not a done deal yet !!
I don't believe anything from that source but I have to say I'd listen to a big fee for Caicedo, say £60-65m PLUS McTominay or Colwill.Man Utd devise tempting swap deal as Ten Hag looks to hijack Chelsea move for £75m target

Depends whether God is an Albion fan.from the players perspective.....at what point do you stop listening to this. Held onto in Jan when Arse came calling, potential held onto in the Summer when Chelsea come calling. The club made noises that he would be allowed to leave. His stock is very high already.
He probably was - but when? July 2024 perhaps? If Chelsea re serious about signing him, I'd be happy with a straight swap for Colwill & Gallagher.
I'd love him to stay but maybe it would be best to let him go as he was promised a move away after the Arsenal deal didn't materialise last season.
This is the reason Caicedo may possibly end up having another season with us, the clubs that want him all have other positions they need to also improve & £80-100m is a sizeable chunk of anyones budget.I don’t think Man Utd is realistic with or without McTominay on top. They’ve got limited funds but have just wasted £55m on Mount, will sign Onana for circa £40m and they still desperately need a striker.
They would need to shift a load of their squad to afford Caicedo but will struggle as they pay them too much. Shockingly run club.
Yep! No friendly welcome back when we play them compared to Ally Mac. Won't be given the abuse of Cucarella but imagine he'll get a little stick?Agree, he can f*** off if he goes. Clearly just going for the money if he goes to that scum club.
….unless there’s a Middle East buyout (looking increasingly unlikely though)I don’t think Man Utd is realistic with or without McTominay on top. They’ve got limited funds but have just wasted £55m on Mount, will sign Onana for circa £40m and they still desperately need a striker.

I agree with you.I feel a little confused over this possible transfer.
Cards on the table, I have never thought we will lose both Caicedo and Ali Mac, mainly because I can’t see how we could replace both this season without a drop in performance.
When Caicedo singed a new deal in February, after the January shenanigans, I thought that the club had made the decision to sell Mac, and we would keep Caicedo.
My thinking behind this was, we don’t want or need to sell, he’s very important to us,if he performs to his potential in the PL and Europe, he will be very much a 100 million plus player, and we can groom his successor over the coming season.
All pretty much the way we operate.
From Moises point of view, he has singed a 4 year contract with a club option on a further year, making it in reality, a 5 year deal. Now, the confusing bit.
He singed this in February, knowing that he will be very attractive to bigger clubs in this transfer window. He, obviously, got a large increase in his wages, and, no doubt, other incentives to sing. Now, if he had a strong desire to leave, why sign away 5 years to the club, when a straight 3 year deal would achieve almost as much. And, if he knew for certain that he was leaving, he would only be picking up his new wage for 5 months maximum, before he would be on mega bucks.
I’m not sure I believe the story about us promising him a ‘dream move’ this summer, it doesn’t sound like something we would do, and he would have been in a very strong negotiating position, surely he could have got a similar deal as Ali Mac on paper, and cast iron.
There doesn’t appear to be any kind of agreement between the club and Caicedo and his agent, because had we reneged on a deal, I believe his agent would, quite rightly, let the world know.
From what I have gathered, there doesn’t appear to be any kind of friction between the player, his representatives and the club, not at the moment, anyway. Moises latest comment about God will choose where he ends up, doesn’t sound like the comments of someone desperate to leave.
You may think I’m desperately trying to justify believing he won’t leave in the face of overwhelming evidence that he’s going, but, has there been any credible evidence that he’s off?
The usual sources on Twitter etc, are saying he is,but Naylor and Ornstein don’t seem to be that convinced. As we know, we keep things very close to our chests , so I don’t really believe any rumours etc till the deal is done.
Upon completion of such a deal I would fully expect Mr Bloom to pull his own face off, remove the plaster across this voice box, and reveal himself to be...Man Utd devise tempting swap deal as Ten Hag looks to hijack Chelsea move for £75m target

If I remember rightly we used to sing about the Pope being one, so it's possible....Depends whether God is an Albion fan.

Absolutely no proof he was promised anything nor any proof he is desperate to leave.Well, according to Fabrizio Romano, who is generally quite a reliable source.
