There's quite a difference between 'posh' and living in one of the world's best cities like London though. Endless amount of things to do as a baller in London. Very little to do in some backwards northern village.

Thousands of models as well in the big smoke. He just needs to offload the ball and chain. He's 21 FFS way too early to grow up.

I can't stand the Smoke and couldn't when I was 21 either. I had to travel through it regularly, from Northwood but the sooner I got to Victoria station the better it was for me.
I loved Plymouth at the time. Loads going on, friendly locals and nice scenery.
Big cities are not for me, but then I'm not male nor a footballer.

I agree Chelsea is posh SW3 , an average 3 bed terraced house off the kings road will set you back around £4m .

lots of cool restaurants, bars etc . You can’t really compare that to a nice village up north

However London is only a good place to live if you have a very big budget . Much of it is a dump with high crime .

I understand what you are saying but the only solution then is for him to change agents again. He did it in January and can do it again or risk destroying the relationships he has with our club, Liverpool and many observers.

The sad thing is that Moises seems to have few people around him that he can trust, you know, a genuine mate. Sacking his agent might be a good move (but who knows what penalties will have been hidden in the MC/Agent contract) but appointing a new one could be even worse. Who is there to help him pick a good agent?

He’s a great footballer and a very young man, probably mature in surviving but totally immature in wealth and career management.

Sticking with the Albion, Lallana, Milner, dunk, Welbeck, gross,etc and having the likes of Caldy, Murray, Sidwell, Crofts, etc and his young SA footballing mates and RDZ and team all around him would make a very strong case for him staying and enjoying life and maturing in a stable environment.

I fear for him if he is plunged into the big pool with little emotional support, significantly more hangers on and entitled owners and fans.

Yes being badly advised, going to Liverpool would have kept him within a stable situation. Chelsea are a basket case of a club.

He’s a shy, God fearing 21 year old from an unsophisticated part of a country that is completely different to the UK. He knows how to play football. He knows almost nothing else. Because of this he has been led all his life by people who have told him they have his best interests at heart. At least one of them doesn’t.

He’s now in an impossible position having alienated RDZ and some fans like you, but unwilling, or unable to push back against his agent(s).

Blame him if you want to. I wish him well and thank him for giving me the opportunity to watch a player who could be the world’s best in his position. Whether that will happen will be down to the greedy leeches advising him. I’d boo them in a heartbeat. In fact I’d ban them from The Amex and start to investigate legal proceedings against them. But don’t take it out on the lad himself, who is basically being used as a cash cow.

On top of this I do worry about the career move he is making.
The Todd's approach to FFP will unravel quickly if Chelsea aren't in the Champions League every season.
They are just starting their rebuild with 4 clubs already a long way ahead of them.
There will also be Liverpool and Spurs rebuilding alongside them.

No guarantees that project Todd, will give Moises what he deserves.

Exactly, London is full of plastic wannabes desperately hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous in a dodgy bar or club (obviously not yourself or @Live by the sea though)

But it's also full of the best restaurants and far more beautiful women from around the world. There's tacky shiz and incredible cultural places , museums , art galleries. Sophistication. There's everything. Small villages near Manchester , Manchester , Liverpool etc shouldn't even be in the same breath.

I'm not saying caicedo is choosing London because of this btw ....

When Mourinho was Chelsea manager he brought a rule in that all players had to live within a couple of miles of Cobham training ground. No excuse for being late for training and away from the bright lights of SW3. Not sure if rule still applies.

Did wonders for house prices in Cobham though !

If Moises signed for Chelsea they’d stick him in some tacky, fake Tudor Surrey horror show so he could get to Cobham easily. No different to living in Cheshire and working in Liverpool except the houses are better in Cheshire and it actually looks nice.

I suspect that the posh restaurants and cool bars of SW3 were a bigger draw for his 'advisors' than they were for Caicedo.

Better for the agents, he will get sold again within 3 seasons, at Liverpool they dont churn players anything like as much, just get occasional contract renewals or improvements for the next decade.

I totally agree with this. It seems very obvious that his agent, Manuel Sierra, is a greedy **** with no morals whatsoever who is manipulating him to maximise his bung. He persuaded Caicedo to say he was ok with Liverpool bidding and then persuaded him to turn them down once they won the auction. It would not surprise me that much if there's been some criminal acts committed.
I wish someone he really trusts could make him see sense and fire the agent.

Chelsea have obviously been struggling to legitimately raise the required fee due to ffp for weeks hence the lack of agreement, Liverpool sneak in but haven't spent months tapping moises up unlike Chelsea and both chelseas wages and his agents fee which are huge easily beats Liverpools, so on it goes, don't care too much who he ends up with although Liverpool with Alexis looks perfect if it was me, the main shit about all this is the fact we are being held up securing replacements and that's not on, if I was Tony I would say you've got til today to sort it else ALL deals off and he stays!
