Do you think TB/PB amicably asked MC a while back to stay away and do as he pleased?

That could be true, but it doesn’t sound right eg what if no club actually came up with the £100m … we know that even recently the Chavs have been titting round with £80m in the last few days ….. so MC could still be an Albion player come 2nd September after 5 weeks extra holiday. To add, the Albion have absolutely no financial need to sell him.

Imho this smacks more of Boehly/Cntstanley/agents orchestration.
Yes I think that given the media maelstrom, the club would have, like last year, asked him to keep a low profile and definitely not issue a stupid statement like before. Caicedo has. And I think the club has a contingency for this moment and it will not have unsettled Bloom and Barber one little bit. I dislike Chelsea, but I wonder if your dislike has clouded your judgement on this issue?

He told Trossard to go home in January until his transfer was completed.

I'm actually beginning to feel sorry for Moises. He has so much pressure on his young shoulders and so many parasites around him telling him what he needs to do. Plus pressure from family, friends and a whole community wanting him to help fund them.
Yes. I expect lots of replies about feeling sorry for a 21 yr old multi-millionaire, but nonetheless I'm sure he is feeling a lot of stress and just wants the whole saga to end so he can return to playing football.

Different circumstances entirely.

He’d been in an open spat with RDZ, his agent mouthy, RDZ wanted the cancer of sulker out of the club.

The club would be delighted if Caicedo was still with us 2nd September.

Would much rather he goes to Liverpool, much as it'll be f***ing awful seeing him and Mac back together playing for another team.

Tbh he has pretty much moved into Cucurella/Potter territory with the way he has acted. To act like this once is bad, to do it twice is unforgivable.

Definitely. It’s football. People here hate some clubs more than others.

Yeah I think I'm in the same boat.

For us it's a very emotional thing, or it can be, and sagas like this can make us feel like he's an awful person or whatever but the reality is: we're his employer and that's it. He doesn't have the emotional connection to the club we do. Not to mention he's young and stands to earn enough money to set his entire family up for life.

Of course it would have been nice for this entire thing to have been handled differently but I put that on his agents shoulders. And on the relentless cycle of bullshit coming out of chancers and engagement whores like Romano.

To quote G-Potts: It is what it is. As long as what 'it' is turns out to be Liverpool and a boatload of money for us I'm fine with it all.

I agree but Liverpool have stepped in.

The ‘way he has acted’ based on social media reporting, much of which is (according to PBOBE if we didn’t know already) is bollox. We simply don’t know how he has acted.

This is the guy who publicly announced he was leaving without a bid being accepted in January...

I have no doubt the story from Melissa Reddy is true tbh, but believe what you want.

Particularly bearing in mind what happened to their own Matthew Harding - who a stand at their ground is named after! Not that that ‘fan’ will have been anywhere near the ground or have any idea of their history prior to 2004.

Twitter is a sewer.
99.9% of twitter Chelsea fans have no idea who Harding is

So you don't think he is London even though he's meant to be injured and there's photos this week of him with his agent in London? And you think these reporters are making us such a weird detail? He's been nowhere near Lancing. Come on guys. Steele was just doing what he felt right. Moises is in all the social media posts usually and he's been in none.
The guy is forcing the move and should be treated exactly the same as Tross and Sanchez who, Incidentally, played a lot more games for us.
That photo is old, and that is not his agent he is with, if its the photo that i saw
