Are we going to give a verbal response to the verbal bid or will we respond in other ways?

Semaphore or smoke signals (depends on wind direction).
I was leaning towards a homing pigeon dressed in Blooms racing silks.

According to Fab the Liverpool bid being prepared is a ‘verbal’ one. I’m going to assume we will have someone standing behind their delegation checking nobody is crossing fingers.

"Verbal is an adjective. It means of or relating to words, whether spoken or written. This means that verbal can be used to refer to speech or written text, since it means anything relating to words."

I guess he means 'oral'.

How long does it take to prepare a verbal bid?!
I would say as long as it takes to clear one’s throat in Liverpool though they don’t bother

He'll stay, Both will offer £90m and we'll just close the door and lock it.

Both have the money, 1 owner is a nutjob - Boehly, the other is a stingefest - John W

But if he says Liverpool was always his dream while playing for them on Sunday ill laugh my tits off.

Kid's had a dream of Madrid, UTD, Arsenal and now one of these 2 in last 12 months.

Lock him up somewhere and don't let him out until 1st September. Seems reasonable enough to me.
