He looked happy enough last night at the awards dinner, but I am sure Newcastle’s Saudi billions will buy him sooner rather than later

To be brutally honest, if he goes, I don’t care how it turns out for him. He should, in my opinion, be staying with us another season. If he goes to the Desert, good for him, take the dirty money, and retire with more money than Methuselah, and a completely wasted talent.
I really, don’t want to see him go to another English club, and I certainly don’t want to see him go to Chelsea.
Agree with all that but wasn't Methuselah famous for longevity. Surely you mean Solomon?

Probably a club, like the Albion, who don’t want to do business on SM with twattish fans wading in with their entitled bollocks and Here We Go Romano aggravating the situation?
I’m sure that Romano said it would ‘probably’ be done to Chelski about 5 weeks ago…

The new Saudi bid comes from Sheikh Yamani.
Oh yes it does.
He will offer BHA 120 million of our english pounds.
Are you listening Chelsea. If you want Caicedo you're going to have to pay somewhere around £110,000,000.
He does not wish to twist your arm behind your back. This is a real offer from a real Saudi Sheikh below. A genuine bid. Honest. Cubs honour.
Now pay up or shut up.

It wouldn't surprise me if the bid has come in from a Nigerian prince. Some of them get left HUGE inheritances.

Makes no difference if it's Liverpool or Southend. The price is £100m!

Gonna rule out Southend, it was all kicking off down the high street according to the BBC
Surely bullshit? Would any club really come in with a bid without first having had an informal chat with the player's agents about whether he would like fo come? This is the process normally described by Fab Romano as 'player has agreed terms'.
Some clubs won’t need to qualify interest (City, United, Arsenal, Liverpool)

Anyone but the Chavs would be brilliant

Not in Whitechapel
I remember, during the Arsenal bits, him saying he wants to be the most successful Ecuadorian footballer ever, won't happen if he fecks off to the Saudi league.

He could spend 3 years in Saudi Arabia and return to European football at the ripe old age of 24, £30,000,000 richer.

It’s a no brainer for him.
