Driving up the M1, probably near Mansfield or Matlock or something, but south of Chesterfield, you suddenly see about 6 or 7 massive cooling towers.

Coming from Arundel, the north starts at WhitewaysNorth of the Downs is generally considered the North by us lot.
But I think a more reasonable view is probably anything North of Birmingham
Anyone who thinks Shropshire is in the "North" is a geography dimwit ....
