I think what's more encouraging is that the Chelsea performance was right up there too. We still could do with some additional options but we are starting to look a very decent football team IMO. We started 3-4-1-2 switched to 4-4-2 and bossed the game with both options. We lost our two best players during the game but continued to dominate the game and with the exception of the one Wilson header didn't give up a chance.

We keep playing at this level and not too many will beat us in this division. I definitely think top 10 is a realistic possibility with some luck in running.

Newcastle had no shots on goal and we had enough chances to hit 5 or 6 goals quite comfortably.

We’ve had better results in terms of beating top six opposition but have rarely played them off the pitch, the time we did was 3-0 vs Spurs and that remains the number one for me.

Today was our second best Premier League performance. We made Newcastle look like Portsmouth.

"our return to the premier league"? I didn't realise we had ever bee relegated from it! That aside it was probably our best performance, as the commentator said "all the team were 8 out of ten with some even higher than that."

We took what would have been our opening or closing 30 minutes from a game last season into a full 90 minute performance.

That's the progress we have been looking for.

Wonderful.

Could well be the best all round performance in the prem for me. Everyone played well. But I will add Thurs against Pompey was exactly the same. So 22 different starters in a few days and everyone did well - just great stuff...

As an away performance, one of the best.
Totaly bossed the game, every player had a very good game, Lamptey superb, Alzate, Biss and Solly has found his best position. Ben White looks superb and worth double
what Leeds wanted to pay.
Word of praise for Potter, got his tactics absolutely spot on, turning into a very good tactical manager

I think this squad performs well away from home because there are more spaces to attack. We seem to have trouble making decisions against teams that sit back a bit at the Amex.

Absolutely dominant. Understandably first 20 mins of the 2nd half qe were pressed but towards the end (especially Connollys goal) absolutely no press.

We are Potters Tricky Gulls.

The Arsenal double and “that” Spurs performance takes some beating.

Today was a great day though. To win 3-0 away in the Premier League, playing like that? That is not something to take for granted.

Outstanding.

Felt like a complete team performance, bossing from the off - rarely any doubt that we were coming away with the three points.

Where does it rank for you?

Similar to our first away game at Watford last season but BETTER

Probably our most complete all-round display, especially away from home. We've had away games where we've defended well and looked toothless, and gone forward well while being shocking at the back. Today we were brilliant at both ends.

Right up there but for the excitement of being there the 3 nil win away at West Ham will be one I’ll always remember. Watford away was pretty good too seeing the start of the Potter revolution.

Best ever, we never looked in any danger, should have scored more and we did it away from home.

Oh and we don’t need Wilson B.W.2

Great performance, but not as good as Spurs at home for me or Man Utd home (3-2), as they were much better teams than Newcastle.

Must be in top 10 though if not top 5. Arsenal away was very good, Watford away for different reasons, Potters first game and the way the team adapted.

But today was class. Total football....... Holland 74.

You know it’s a great performance when their fans are name dropping our players in positive ways and also asking why their team can’t play like ours.

Outstanding performance, everyone had a good game!

I didn’t know that we currently have the best away record in the PL. albeit includes 5 draws. But still, good stuff.
