I feel most fans would consider 20th a real achievement and its a very sad statement.

Someone should really bounce all those threads slagging off the papers and the BBC for predicting us to stuggle this season

A team with a losing mentality is hard to chance around and thats why a win last night was vital for morale. Another example I am afraid that Slade does not know what is required for a successful campaign.

I think survival is paramount. This season is over already and its now about staying in the division.

Xmas time you will know his fate

We gave MH too long and left it until it was too late and that was New Year, wasn't it?

New Year is too late also for someone wanting to bring players in early in January isn't it?

A slightly disappointing 14th.

Don't Panic

The table traditionally evens itself around Christmas, with less than a quarter of the season gone there is plenty of time to turn things around and this a commodity Slade needs more than most others, and he deserves it too.

In Russell we trust.

Doesn't always turn around though does it? What's going to happen between now and Christmas? Will we suddenly stop kicking every ball straight up the park?

To me there are too many individuals and no team tactics or the ability to change what we always do.

what would you rather have? a team that starts the season on fire and then drops away tamely, or a team that starts poorly then finds it feet and finishes strongly looking good to go on next year. i suspect thats what is happening here, at least i hope it is! still think there will be more below us than above us come next april.

Bottom, or near as damn it. For a club with such an illustrious history-winning what you have, it's a cracking start :tosser:

I'm hoping that as you have such an affiliation with Crawley, you will soon be on parity with them (and i don't mean them getting promoted twice)

The problem is there has been NO improvement all season. Therefore on current form we will be relegated. I see NOTHING in our team that will change this at the mo.
