In McDonalds Western Rd 1985 - I was junior manager and she was friend of sister of friend who came in one night.....think it was the smell of grease, the Kevin Keegan light perm and my five stars that won her over

At a wedding in Manchester. I went to see her a couple of weeks after, travelling up from the South. Strangely coincided with an Albion game at Blackburn which I managed to take in. Start as you mean to go on.

In a pub in Oxford. By prearrangement. After considerable work-connected email 'courting'. My guess is this is very common these days. It's ennervating to feel so modern.

At her best friend's 18th Birthday party. Said best friend celebrated her 60th in March this year.

42 years, married 37, two daughters and a granddaughter and still going strong.

A bit out of the way for you, what brought you there?

I did live 5 minutes walk away from the Trek and this was a long time ago.

Think a mates girlfriend had a house party near by and we ended up there! This must've been when I was like18, 25 now and wouldn't be seen dead in there, actually to be honest give me a pub over a club anytime nowadays!
