Born in a tied cottage on Rowner farm in West Sussex between Billingshurst and Wisborough Green, college in Huddersfield for 3 years then followed work in Horsham then various parts of London - Islington, Archway, Willesden Green, Golders Green, Lewisham, Walthamstow and finally found myself in the outskirts of Reading.

From Redhill, most of the family are Millwall my closest team is Palarse but luckily my Dad has class and style (also his grandparents house didnt used to have wheels on it) so as a boy he took me to see the team he had supported as a boy the Mighty Brighton and Hove Albion, he has brought me up the good way.
Also just have to share this as I was so proud, I was tying my daughter hair up before school and picked up a hairband that was by us and my Girl was horrifyed and said "I am NOT wearing THAT in my hair Dad" I was a bit bemused but then she pointed out it was red and Blue, I was sooooo proud bless her

Ok so basically i'm doing some research into where Brighton and hove fans are from. Its for a University assignment. I'm training to be a teacher. Its weird assignment but oh well! I'm interested to see how far spread you are. Probabaly most of you are from Brighton and hove and East Sussex... however i just want to know if there is any that are further afield. So PLEASE could you just post where you are from and if you are from further away then WHY brighton? and not somewhere closer to you... Thank you so much!

Why do you you seem to exclude West Sussex from being natural Brighton fans? As for me, born in Merton and brought to Sussex when I was 5 so London Born, Sussex Bred, strong in the arm and coincidentally, clever in the head!!!!! (awaits abuse)

Agreed, West Sussex has key Albion Support all along the coast as far as Littlehamptom, and I am sure that inland is the same story.
