Up to this season, big Sam has done exactly what was asked of him....no more, no less, it wasn't pretty but he did it. He would've carried on doing this if the owners not intervened. The problem was, it was just bloody awful to watch and if you're paying that sort of money, you expect something decent in return. You don't mind a few defeats if the players are prepared to put a good shift in but this wasn't happening.
Teddy Sherringham, along with some decent signings and a change in tactics has worked a treat. Giving Stuart Downing a free'er role has been a winner too and the signing of Alex Song was just a master stroke.
Happy times to be a Hammer....they don't happen that often and i'm enjoying it whilst it lasts.
Hope Sammi pulls it round for you....Is Barry Lloyd still a scout ? He got some amaizing players for you back in the day...maybe a few decent loan signings could be the short term answer.
