Good that hes still talking about it with the aim that its going to happen. Its disappointing that we are still no further along with where it might be though.

When they originally spoke about it I had hoped (obviously unrealistically!) that the stadium might be ready for the 25-26 season. Sooner we are out of Crawley the better!

It does intrigue my as to why they're remaining so tight lipped about the location. They must have somewhere in mind if they're talking about timelines
Because if you're going to try and buy the land, you don't want somebody else nipping in first so they can sell it to you later for a much higher price?

You've summed it up.

Another two and a half seasons at the very minimum at Crawley isn't likely to grow a local support base for Albion Women any time soon.

Knowing the intended time frame, there's every reason to play more home games at the Amex for the next 2 seasons after this one to build numbers.

Possibly a few hundred meters from the Amex.

There were rumours of maybe building on the land between the West Stand and Falmer Station which I believe is owned by Brighton University.

However, with the delay in the start to building student accommodation on Bennett's Field, I wonder if a late move is happening to try and purchase the land and build it there?
