TBH, I know no such thing. I know Hurricane Higgins drank too much and was a tit when he was drunk. I know nothing of his geopolitical interests, aspirations or involvements. For all I know he was a significant donor to the afore-mentioned regime.

However, what is clear is that I made a joke and it clearly touched a nerve. Maybe you should calm down, smile and take the comments posted on a football chat site a little less seriously or you too will be approaching a premature death. Honestly, getting stressed and worked up isn't worth it.

Spacey. I knew him from theatre work. It was very open he was gay in the biz, like Schofield or Michael Ball etc. But disappointed he thought it was appropriate to out himself as a result of his behaviour with underage lads. Found him professional to a fault but there were always stories about him.

Still one of the best actors who ever lived. Just really tainted it.

used to enjoy his newspaper columns, there was even a play about him in the west end "jeffrey bernard is unwell" what was your bad experience with him? just a generally obnoxious drunk?

As a boyhood autograph hunter, I still recall being brushed aside like a fly on separate occasions by Ted Dexter and John Arlott. Dexter was a hero as a cricketer but not as a person. Ray Illingworth was the opposite. Absolute gent wirth time for a chat, too.

Saw Viv Richards live 3 times. Took time of work to watch him at Hove twice and third time in a final against Sussex at Lords Low scores every time. Looking back annoying that 2 ordinary bowlers in Greenfield and Barclay got him out on 2 of the occasions. I can still remember the dismissals thats how cheesed of I was. He chipped Greenfield to mid wicket at Hove and swept Barclay to behind square at Lords.

Missed them. Might have been taking a break from cricket at the time as I'm sure I'd have gone otherwise. My greatest cricket memory was seeing the West Indians bowl Sussex out for 59 before lunch at Hove and then seeing Kanhai and Sobers run riot with the bat after lunch. Sobers remains far and away the greatest cricketer I have ever seen. He could do everything!

I met Alex Higgins in the mid 80s in Manchester, allbeit drunk, him not me, and he was a real nause.

I met him in a pub in Knightsbridge in the late 80s, drunk, him not me. One of the guys I was with admired Higgin's shirt so he took it off and gave it to him.
