I think 30% chance it will happen somewhere inland on Sunday. On the coast, forget it expect plenty of low cloud and mist with an onshore wind and sea temps of only 6c..

It is looking unlikely that today will hit 20 degrees (though close).
The reading at Herstmonceax peeked at 19.6 this afternoon.
Looking at previous years, Gatwick has traditionally recorded the warmest temperatures.
Their earliest recording of the magic 20 or 68 Fahrenheit in old money within the last 5 years is:
2012 23rd March
2011 6th April
2010 28th April
2009 15th April
2008 3rd May
A little way to go before we do worse than 2008, though after today the temperature in land is not expected to be as high within the next 10 days.

Herstmonceaux recorded 20.2 degrees yesterday. Only official Sussex weather station to break through the 20.

Still awaiting a 20 at Shoreham Airport in 2013.
The weather has been set fair for the last few days & despite a bit of rain mid week should be nice for the next two weeks. However, no warm spell is forecast & the magical 20 degrees at Shoreham Airport doesn't look like being reached for some time.
To put into context how cool the weather has been, here are the dates when 20 degrees or 68 Fahrenheit has been reached at Shoreham airport:

Looks like the 20 will be hit around the London area & maybe Gatwick, but nowhere near that on the coast. More like 15-16 degrees. My speedos will be be kept back for a while yet!

Still no 20 degrees recorded at Shoreham airport this year & not look likely in May either. Amazing how cool the weather has been this year.
Someone on the radio today said that this Spring was going to be the coolest since 1979.
