I think the pictures on here are a perfect summary of the time and exactly as i remember it. Across the 10 or so photos we have one person landing a punch, a couple more grabbing each other by the jackets and about 250 shouting 'hold me back'



Bit i'm sure it was because I wasn't ITK :lolol::lolol::lolol::lolol:

But it wasn't really embarrassing at the time, it was normal......like now we take cctv and high density stewarding as the normal now......back in the 70/80's .... even the police were reluctant to stand up to some of the mobs we saw around the country......I repeat, not clever, just the sign of those times.
loved it , got nicked, got a slap, oh well
