1994.

Lovely cared for by the very person who built it until we moved in last year.

Where do you work, Stonehenge?

 I work in Chichester. Building next to the Cathedral.

I have been reliably informed that the building has been modified drastically and not much of the early structure remains. We do have a 400 year old canon ball here though.

1975-ish. Unfortunately. They sold them before they were finished and so fitted them out more cheaply than the original plans.

It was on the site of a market garden - and the builders sold off the top soil to the locals who turned up with their barrows.

1930's we believe....although from all the crap double glazing you'd never know...

We're saving our pennies for proper Crittal windows to put back in - although at this rate it'll be in the year 2050!!

Cool snippet!! We used to be the gardens of Longcroft House - subdivided and built into 3 semi's and a huge block of flats....I imagine the house and grounds must have been massive!!

I lived in a 12th Inn in Devon for six months and my friends farm cottage is mentioned in the Domesday book. I lived there for a few months.

How old is yours, LC?

Living in a 1864!

1880. Used to be a terraced street of farm cottages. We've still got remains of the fish smoking room at the bottom of the garden, plus an air-raid shelter. Nice to live in a bit of history :)
