Just been watching it. Can't help but think how silly it has become. Best team captains for me - Emlyn Hughes and Bill Beaumont.

I did enjoy McCoist and Parrott but that might just be because that was the age when I watched it religiously.

I found Matt Dawson as entertaining as a cabbage when I last watched it so I've no idea about the current state...

I always find that I take the side of the captain I prefer regardless of who the guests are. I am a Beaumont, McCoist and Tufnell supporter.

Best era was Hughes and Beaumont.

Although it was Hughes who mistook princess Anne for a man. That was the best era.

That not a sports quiz show though unless you count 2 questions an hour a quiz

For some reason I can remember that I watched it religiously in 1985 and could get many of the questions right. Now, no chance.
