When was the last time you cried like a little girl?

Play off finals in Cardiff, from the moment we won the penalty to the end I wept and wept. Both tears of joy and sadness, the joy being my love of the Albion and the sadness for a very close Albion friend who died in the April, never getting to experience our great day.

It was knackering but somehow wish I could have an outburst like that more.

Cinema gets me every time, had water in me eyes at a film called 'my best friend' at the Duke of Yorks last week. Its a wonderfull life, Lassie, Dances with Wolfs or Tarka the Otter would all have me crying into my popcorn.

Thank you.

not at all. i would continue this most esoteric of discourse, but fear cerebral deficiencies on your part would precipitate its degeneration so admonish you we leave it here.

Is there a long word that describes someone who mistakes using long words as being clever in an attempt to cover up for the deficiencies in their own personality?

That makes no sense at the end.

TID certainly isn't as clever as him but his pomposity and assumption making appear to know no bounds.

I don't cry much - although I did have a right bellow in the middle of the night a few weeks back after a particularly horrendous dream where a series of horrible events had occurred....Zef had absolutely no idea and snored on through the whole thing

Previously I completely lost it when Arthur was little and I realised the enormity of the change in my life and cried for the best part of an afternoon....

hmmm. i'm certainly willing to be put right. i think you can use it like that. if 'us leaving it here' is the action and 'you' is the object of the admonishment, i think it works, no?

so admonish you, is where your grammar has departed you!

it could be "to" admonish you, or "i will" admonish you, but not "so" admonish you.... admonish is a verb.

I would very much doubt that.

don't. self improvement is my middle name. sorry: 'are my middle names'.

if i come across as an arrogant, neurotic, and pompous pedant, it's because you bring me down to it. i guess i just don't like the cut of your jib.

So the faults in your personality are down to me? No wonder you don't like the cut of my jib.

Perhaps you should take some responsiblity for your behaviour and stop making assumptions about peoples intellect based on their message board posts. Rather myopic view don't you think? If it helps I think you're a twat:wave:

indeed. but transitive, and so needs a direct object.

the "i" you need is implicit as it is mentioned in the previous clause.

how would you form the sentence?

By just adding the word to (some comma's and capitalisation wouldn't go astray either):

precipitate its degeneration, so to admonish you, we leave it here.

it does. i do think it's funny though that one can form staunch opinions of people based almost wholly on 160 x 160 pixel images and often trivial comments on superficial topics. but that's just me.

have a good weekend.

Funny how you make that comment with no hint of self awareness.

Still I am quite willing to acknowledge while you are a twat on here you may be a nice chap in real life.

Have a good weekend London Ir-ish.
