True, I think … under RDZ at least … however, away at Newcastle in that dreadful first half we nearly (and should have) conceded directly as a result of having enormous balls on at least three occasions…

The first opposition team smart enough to put any kind of meaningful pressure on Lewis Dunk while he's allowed to walk the ball around with all the pace of Douglas Bader will probably reap an immediate benefit. Just saying, like

A lot of the time your riding the arse clutch and every sinew is being stretched but it’s a beautiful thing when we do it, and do it right.

A memorable time that we arsed it up was in injury time when 1 up against Palace. Thankfully, they arsed up the chance we offered up. I'm not a football expert by any means, but I do feel that when defending a narrow lead in the dying seconds a firm hoof in the direction of the touchline somewhere in the opposition half is reasonable game management.

If you don’t want playing out from the back disasters then you can’t have playing out from the back goals and wins. That means you can’t have 6th place under RDZ. In fact you can’t have RDZ at all, You can have Sam Allardyce though, so there’s always an up side I suppose. Personally I love playing out from the back risk taking and I accept the rough with the smooth.

Whatever the tactics you are going to concede goals.

Tactically and strategically last season we were very attacking and took risks, however only 4 teams had a better GD than us at the end of the season, only 3 teams scored more goals.

Arsenal in particular were completely destroyed by our ability to play in our 3rd comfortably under huge pressure. Long may it continue.

I completely disagree. That’s what Dunk wants and it’s why teams are learning not to press. That’s the real risk to our system.
