When is it cold enough to put the heating on?

My missus can turn the heating on if shes cold I couldn't really care less far more important things in life to worry about.

yep still in shorts and t shirt...its been so mild....still when weather settles down with a good high pressure it should be nice and cold

For me if its <10c average over day and night its time for heat. The misses just turns it on when it starts raining though..

Yup, turn it on when I feel cold, that's what it's there for. Had it on shortly a few weeks ago, but been pretty mild since.

If set up in auto mode yes. Currently mine is switched to off with a frost auto of 5 degrees.

When it actually gets cold for a period of time I'll turn it onto auto and then set the times I want it to come on.

Don't you people have thermostats? The heating stays on all year but it only kicks in when the temperature reaches a certain level.

even if you've turned the heating switch of on the boiler and are just using it for hot water............ **** sake doug you got an appointment down the docs yet

came back from Cyprus 10 DAYS AGO , flew into Gatwick and it was 17c at 7PM ,night time temps of between 14 /16c no need for heating at the moment

17 degrees at 8pm last night with a bizarre warm-ish wind blowing. Certainly not heating weather.
