What about Championship Manager 2011? I got the 2010 version and it was very fun to play... (I prefer the strategy rather than 'arcade' style games).
There's only going to be an iphone version of CM11.

FM has gone down in my estimations since it took on too much crap to deal with, the 1990s versions were the best fun for me.
This, and therefore rather than waste your money on new versions of effectively the same game. Why not download the best version of any of these games for free from here:
Champ Man 01/02
Then wait until September 15th when the new update is out, a full six weeks earlier than FM, and you can play as the Albion's orchestra of flair without the unnecesary complications of modern day FM.
Oh and maybe donate a pound to the website while you are there, to keep the whole thing alive.

Cool - Do you know if CM 2010 has an option to upload a new database and start with 2011 squads?
I agree i think that the football manager games getting worse every year, i still get suckered into buying every year hoping for a inprovement, but the game play is sooo poor now, they just not concentrating on the realism but more on the look.
I still play the 2005 version which is the best one so far.
Fifa 09 was better than fifa 10 as well but properly end up buying that as well
