though the timetables are Monday-Firday then Saturday/Sunday service. are you sure the computer and phone arent just following (US) software norms? The railway week runs Sunday to Saturday, as I work on the railway the calendars on my computers/phone run Sunday to Saturday otherwise it is confusing trying to book leave/plan days out.
ISOWho do you refer to?
Well, yes, timetables are different for different days of the week to meet the demand of those using the service. It's why commuter trains are now starting to be shorter on a Monday and Friday than Tuesday to Thursday. Not entirely sure what point you're trying to make?though the timetables are Monday-Firday then Saturday/Sunday service. are you sure the computer and phone arent just following (US) software norms?
the weekend being Saturday and Sunday settles it for me.
Alright I am even more confused now

I am with you, but there is a popular (American?) children's Days Of The Week song which starts "Sunday Monday, Tuesday Wednesday..."It has to be Mondat, right? When you ask anyone to recite the days of the week, what goon would start with "Sunday"?
Which is in CanadaHmmmm. Would say most people I know would deem Monday the beginning of the week in my part of Ontario!
