Looking back at last season, the injuries around November done for us.
This season we've been a lot luckier with injuries plus we have cover in every position.
Tough run of games in January but if we get to the end on this month in a similar position in the table as we are now, we will go up

Win all 11 home games, and 3 draws away to Rotherham, Preston and wolves seals 2nd place.

Reading on course for 88 points but if you take the form of their last 15 or so probably on course for more.

The key is not to lose to Massive, Newcastle, Reading and Derby at the Amex.

I don't think we have been that lucky with injuries though.

Kayal.
March.
KLL.
Bong.
Rosenior.

However, I think your point about cover is spot on.

I don't think we've been luckier with injuries, we just have more cover. We've been missing Kayal and Rosenior for ages, Goldson was out, Uwe still out, Kaz out, March just back. It just doesn't stand out too much because we've done so well regardless.

36 points from 22 matches is nearly relegation form
Er - I loved the sound of that, but 36/22 * 45 games is 41 points - that's right between Shefwedlol and Derby. Hardly relegation.

Indeed, 75 points over a season has seen many a team get relegated.

We just need to play to the form of the sixth best team and we will probably get second.

The end of last season saw three teams picking up points in a relentless fashion. After Boro's management fall out and loss at Charlton in mid March, they, us and Burnley went the rest of the league season without losing a game. The current run of 18 matches unbeaten suggests that, if it comes to it, our squad is capable of doing that again. At present the complaints about us from other team's fans are sounding like the ones being made about Burnley last year: They're not all that, they are just well organised, somehow they just keep winning. To me this doesn't seem real and can't possibly be happening to Brighton, but, as week after week this squad somehow finds a way, at some point, they are going to make me a believer.

Can't help but believe, especially when you look at the stats.
Can't really see how we could implode that much and with good quality players on the verge of returning from injury as well.
The games in the first half of the season act as a good barometer for the rest and even if we lose another 2 games I still think we will do it.
Just hope we have lost the draw specialist tag now.
