Just a quick browse of their relative wiki pages, goes to show that pound for pound the Wolverine is FAR more formidable compared to its Croc counterpart.

Crocs typically take prey much smaller than itself, but as far as larger animals go they have been known to kill deer, wild boar, kangaroos, orangutans, dingos and water buffalo. Being a seagoing species they also prey upon sea snakes, sea birds, rays and 'small sharks'. Is this really that impressive?

By contrast, the Wolverine preys mainly on small-medium sized mammals, but have been recorded killing prey such as adult deer, moose and elk that are many times larger than itself. On top of this, there is evidence to suggest the nasty little buggers "defend kills against far larger or more numerous predators such as wolves and bears".
The size and power of the salty work against it here. It takes down prey far less formidable than itself, which is no fault of its own but doesn't really allow it to demonstrate just how hard he can be. By comparison the small but hard as nails Wolverine is taking on bears and wolves that pose a considerable threat to its livelihood. He just doesn't give a f**k. Hard.
