Just a quick browse of their relative wiki pages, goes to show that pound for pound the Wolverine is FAR more formidable compared to its Croc counterpart.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saltwater_crocodile
Crocs typically take prey much smaller than itself, but as far as larger animals go they have been known to kill deer, wild boar, kangaroos, orangutans, dingos and water buffalo. Being a seagoing species they also prey upon sea snakes, sea birds, rays and 'small sharks'. Is this really that impressive?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverinehttp://
By contrast, the Wolverine preys mainly on small-medium sized mammals, but have been recorded killing prey such as adult deer, moose and elk that are many times larger than itself. On top of this, there is evidence to suggest the nasty little buggers "defend kills against far larger or more numerous predators such as wolves and bears".

The size and power of the salty work against it here. It takes down prey far less formidable than itself, which is no fault of its own but doesn't really allow it to demonstrate just how hard he can be. By comparison the small but hard as nails Wolverine is taking on bears and wolves that pose a considerable threat to its livelihood. He just doesn't give a f**k. Hard.

As we close in on the final moments of this epic final I think it is a good time to remember a few facts from the post #1 Intro ...

'Wolverine is appearing in his first ever WHC final and he's taken possibly the hardest ever route to get here seeing off three former champions in the opening three rounds

'The S.W.C is the reigning champion and is competing in a record breaking fifth final.'

... so basically this is the classic underdog fighting through against all the odds against the complacent, show boating, entitled incumbent.

It's basically Leicester City v Chelsea/Man City et al

Miles wide.

The yappydog's 'hold me back' bollocks, pretending to take on bears, then getting killed, is the showboating.

The croc just sits there, exuding quiet hardness, and kills everything it wants to, whenever it likes.

This needs to be put in bold. It screams #Wolverine is harder

Your support for the same old, same old, complacent establishment incumbent is predictable but in your heart you know it's time for change.

Croc is just a bully. Do you have any evidence to suggest the SWC can kill animals scarier and more formidable than itself? I don't see how killing animals of a smaller stature is actually a trait of hardness?

Like many on here, you're voting based on what you're more scared of rather than what animal is actually harder by nature. You're ignoring the facts whilst conveniently forgetting to actually demonstrate why the SWC should win this contest.

Again, wrong.

The honey-badger destroying an entire coop of defenceless chickens, rather than the one it eats - that's bullying.

The croc can kill ANYTHING it wants, but just sits there brooding, darkly plotting who's unlucky day its going to be.

So what you're saying is the croc spends most of its time doing nothing. You have no idea what is going through its mind. Sitting doing nothing is not hard, as otherwise I'd be Superman

We're talking about the Wolverine here, not the HB. Anyway... SWC does the exact same thing as the HB in this regard. I quote:

"Off-setting this, goats, water buffalo and wild boar/pigs have been introduced to many of the areas occupied by saltwater crocodiles and returned to feral states to varying degrees and thus can amply support large crocodiles. Any type of domestic livestock, such as chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus), sheep (Ovis aries), pigs, horses (Equus ferus caballus) and cattle (Bos primigenius taurus), and domesticated animals/pets may be eaten given the opportunity"

How is that any different? If anything the SWC is MORE of a bully considering its size. You're also comparing the SWC to the WRONG ANIMAL.

Again all I can see here is empty words with nothing to back it up.

Spending all day clawing at rotten bark for insects and scraping the ground for fallen berries isn't hard, that's desperation due to UN-hardness.

More lies & misinformation. The facts are that the crocs go months without eating, while the wolverine is constantly hunting & constantly eating. One lounges around in mud all day, the other is constantly looking for FIGHTS.

The croc is a fraud

Survival without needing to eat for months, is the definition of hardness. Crocs are not desperate.
